Being a dental assistant also provides workers with hours that are very flexible. This therefore gives them the option of pursuing other activities or education during their free hours of the day. A dental assistant with sufficient experience as well as additional education can easily earn himself a job in marketing related operations.

Finally, the income earnings of dental assistant are generally fair all over the country. Recent statistics show that more than 50% of dental assistants earn between $30,000 to $37,000 a year. Dentists who are found amongst the top 10% are found to earn salaries over $40,000. For dental assistants who are just beginning, earnings are normally set at $11.5 an hour whilst assistants with more experience earn a much higher $20 an hour
