In our generations, everybody will have been taught at some point by a teacher or trainer. Obviously school is a necessity, so there are very few cases indeed where somebody may not have been taught by a teacher, and these are generally very exceptional cases. Considering how everyone will have interacted with these Careers at some point, it should be fairly apparent how crucial teachers are to our present society. Without these Careers, we probably would not have the knowledge we do today, it would be tricky for us to study without the right supervision and approach. Teaching can be a fairly popular path to pursue, but definitely not an easy one.

Initially, we have to tell the differences between teachers and trainers. They do both carry out similar roles, but there are a few big differences that separate them. A teacher as you most likely already know, is employed in a school educating children or teenagers about a variety of subjects. The goal is to supply these students with the know-how needed to move forward in life and acquire a job or further education. Trainers on the other hand, are usually working with people presently in a job. They are tasked with ensuring the employees are skilled enough to carry out their work, usually training new staff and reviewing new procedures with the current team. There are also roles to be found as teaching assistants. These members of staff in schools normally assist the teachers in the classroom and work directly with the children to make sure they have no problems with the work. These roles are paid less than teachers but involve a lower entry requirement.

In England there are roughly 470,000 registered teachers working in schools. This amount doesn’t take into account trainers within workplaces or community learning and development roles, the total number of employees working in a teaching or training career is perhaps closer to 800,000. When thinking about the numbers it can seem like getting into New careers in this sector of work isn’t too troublesome, truth is there is actually a deficiency of particular types of teachers such as maths and modern languages. However, this does not mean you can just walk into one of these roles, if you are thinking about these Career ideas you will have to start by having at least C grade GCSEs in English, Maths and Sciences and you will have to be studying or have already completed a degree in order to undergo your initial teacher training and acquire qualified teacher status.
