The source of the noise caused by tinnitus can be illusive and difficult to pinpoint or it may be distinctly heard in one or both ears. The noise can be low, medium or high-pitched and it can be continuous or it may come and go. Tinnitus is not considered a major issue unless it is considered chronic and may afflict you at any age.
