OCD or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a type of anxiety where a person experiences unwanted thoughts or fears that lead them to obsess and do repititive ritualistic behaviours such as checking to make sure the door is locked several times, or driving by a certain spot several times to make sure no one is ran over.
I had a friend over for dinner the other night and she told me she has been aware of her OCD since the 8th grade.
