Turn Fun Into A Job As A Video Game Tester
Thursday, February 10th, 2011Video game testing is one of the most important pieces of the video game design puzzle. Every video game, once it’s been programmed, is sure to have all sorts of defects, both big and small; and these defects will need to be detected and addressed before the game ever hits store shelves. The way video game testers do their work is simply by playing the video game from start to finish, oftentimes over and over again, and report back any errors or incongruities to the game development team so they can correct them. And, while it might look like a job that’s all fun and games, video game testing also involves quite a bit of work. Fortunately, those who embark on video game testing as a career enjoy the world of gaming so much that it far outweighs any stress that the job also brings.
